What is a Community Coached Run/Walk/Run Group?

It’s all this and then some…

  • Purple yoga mat with decorative patterns on grass, accompanied by a colorful water bottle and a small cup.

    Pre-Hab & Strength Work - (5:15pm M/W)

The more we run, the more our bodies appreciate a little love. Pre-hab helps keep us moving well—building core strength, improving stability, and keeping those joints happy. We kick things off at 5:15pm. It’s optional, but we highly recommend making it part of your routine. Your future self will thank you.

All you need is a mat or a beach towel. Bands and small weights are provided.

  • two women runners smiling and goofing off

    Coached Run/Walk/Run Group (5:45pm M/W+)

We meet three times a week (sometimes there’s an optional fourth day if you're feeling spicy). We start together with a dynamic warmup at 5:45pm and wrap up by 6:45 with cool-down stretches. Most nights, you’ll find three pace groups: walkers, beginning run/walkers, and seasoned run/walkers. No matter your pace, there's a spot for you. Coaches will rotate between the pace groups.

The cost for the group is $65 per season (3 seasons/year). This includes all the services on this page.

*Cost cannot be a barrier to fitness and fun. If the price listed here feels out of reach, let’s chat.

  • Person's forearm with a tattoo that says "Run the Mile You're In" alongside a running figure icon. A smartwatch on the wrist shows a paused running activity.

    Personalized Pacing (Various Times)

Most of our running should follow the 80/20 rule—meaning 80% of our miles are run at a chill, conversational pace. But what is that pace for you? Sometimes called high Zone 1 or low Zone 2, we figure it out with Magic Mile assessments + heart rate calculations several times a year. From that, we dial in your regular pace, your long run pace, and your speed or interval pace.

It’s simple, science-backed, and super helpful.

Joining Trailstrong Running has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself physically, mentally and spiritually!
